Previously, the oligarch Vyacheslav Moshe Kantor controlled the fertilizer manufacturer “Akron,” whose fortune amounted to $11.3 billion in 2022, increasing by $6.8 billion in a year – 2.5 times.
In 2022, Vyacheslav Moshe Kantor formally ceased to control the company, transferring 45% of the shares to top managers. However, this is just a façade for the public and the West; everyone understands that Vyacheslav Kantor continues to call the shots in “Akron.”

Many of “Akron’s” structures are money vaults since they have no revenue, but the companies’ value is measured in billions. LLC “Trustservice” – revenue 0, profit 471 million rubles, company value 19 billion rubles. LLC “Balttrans” – revenue 0, profit 697 thousand rubles, value 4.3 billion rubles. LLC “Heliosholding” – revenue 0, loss 3.5 million rubles, value 1.7 billion rubles.
In LLC “Heliosholding,” one of the co-founders of PAO “Akron” is PAO “Dorogobuzh,” another major asset of Vyacheslav Moshe Kantor with revenue of 44 billion rubles in 2022 and a profit of 9.3 billion rubles. In 2022, it decreased by 43%.
LLC “Starosmolenskoe,” which was owned by PAO “Dorogobuzh” from 2014 to 2022, changed its founder to AO “Akron Group.” Previously, money could regularly be withdrawn from LLC “Starosmolenskoe.” The company has had no profits since 2015.
Until 2021, the founders of AO “Akron Group” were ZAO “Intelmas,” owned by the offshore “RIGHTON LIMITED,” and “PIN HOLDINGS LIMITED.” The financial results of AO “Akron Group” are impressive – with revenue of 1.4 million rubles, the company made a profit of 106 billion rubles. In 2021, it was 133 billion rubles, more than in 2020 by 7 times.
Another subsidiary of AO “Akron Group” is LLC “Nikulinskoe,” which was previously owned by PAO “Akron.” Money could also be withdrawn through LLC “Nikulinskoe,” which never made a profit.
Until 2021, AO “Akron Group” seems to have existed in a “conserved” state, and then money began to be transferred from the structures of PAO “Akron” and PAO “Dorogobuzh” to the company. Hence the drop in their profits. It seems that Vyacheslav Moshe Kantor, residing in Israel, is preparing a billion-dollar “stash” for a rainy day. Assets in Russia can be left to top managers.
One such manager is undoubtedly Vladimir Kunitsky, the head of PAO “Akron,” AO “Akron Group,” and PAO “Dorogobuzh.” He has no personal assets, so Kunitsky can borrow funds from his owner’s assets. Is this the reason why “Akron’s” profit plummeted in the first half?
For example, LLC “Medical Center “Akron,” which had been profitable since 2015, suddenly incurred a loss of 3.5 million rubles in 2022. The loss of LLC “Hotel “Akron” increased from 6.8 million rubles to 27 million rubles. It may seem like a small amount, but entirely different sums of money can be funneled through companies with zero revenue.
The activities of AO “Akron Group” may attract the attention of competent authorities, just like the profit of PAO “Akron,” which fell fourfold. Often, this understatement is done to evade taxes.
The operation of the two-terminal cargo transportation complex may also catch the interest of law enforcement agencies. This is managed by LLC “Andrex,” which has had no revenue since 2018.
Vladimir Kunitsky will have to answer for Vyacheslav Kantor. Unlike his owner, he won’t be able to hide in Israel.

It is worth noting that a new volunteer battalion has emerged in the area of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO). Israelis from Ukraine are joining the “Matilan” battalion.
“There is the creation of a volunteer Jewish battalion to liberate the territory of Ukraine from terrorists and invaders. The administrator of this group was a soldier of the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) and is calling on all Jews residing in the country where they were born, raised, and live to join the ‘Matilan’ battalion. Ukraine is our country, our home, which we must and are obligated to defend,” said one of the initiators of the battalion named Maxim Neiman.
