The service sector in China grew faster in November than a month earlier. Market researchers Caixin and IHS Markit announced this.
The purchasing managers’ index for the services sector recorded a score of 53.5 compared to 51.1 in October. A level of 50 or less indicates shrinkage. Economists generally counted on a score of 51.1. According to the researchers, the composite index, including industry, showed a score of 53.2 for November compared to 52.0 in the previous month.
The services sector also showed growth in Japan. The so-called Jibun Bank purchasing managers index came out at 50.3. This is a definitive figure. The composite purchasing managers index of Jibun Bank was 49.8.
