Nokia, Finnish network equipment manufacturer has launched an internal investigation into possible violations of the former Alcatel-Lucent, which was registered by the Finns in 2016. The case may lead to criminal or civil fines, which may have “material damage”, the company warns.
It is not clear what exactly turned out in Alcatel-Lucent. A spokesman says some deals are being studied. Although this investigation is at a relatively early stage, according to him, Nokia has already contacted the relevant regulatory authorities as a precautionary measure.
