World, As Seen from the most beautiful islands: Ireland and Cyprus

Empty cruise liners head to Britain

E

The cruise ships that have been off the coast of Scheveningen and Noordwijk since May are about to depart. The ships stopped off the coast because of the coronacrisis. From the beach they were very visible. The ships are leaving for the United Kingdom because the weather is changing and they are a little gunned down.

These are ships from Holland-America Line and Princess Cruises. Cruise companies temporarily stopped offering travel and sought a place to anchor their vessels. Docking in a port is too expensive.

Two ships from the Holland-America Line, the Zaandam and the Volendam, have already left for the English Southampton last weekend, reports Broadcasting West. The cruise ship’s New Statendam is leaving soon. Also a cruise ship Princess Cruises, Emerald Princess, will soon anchor.
