Dachser Ireland appointed a new managing director


John van den Berg is the new managing director of Dachser Ireland. He succeeds Albert Johnston, who retired. Van den Berg worked for a long time at Dachser in the Netherlands.

John van den Berg (49) has been working for Dachser in Ireland since July 2019. He assisted Albert Johnston in the final phase of integrating his company Johnston Logistics into the Dachser organization. Dachser already acquired Johnston Logistics in 2017.

Van den Berg has worked at Dachser since 2006. He started in Waddinxveen as head of customer service & controlling. In 2011 he went to the branch in Zevenaar. In 2013, Van den Berg took up leadership there.

Dachser employs 175 people in three locations in Ireland: Cork, Limerick and the Dublin headquarters.
