Aedifica is investing 126 million euros in the construction of eight residential care centers in the British islands of Jersey and Isle of Man and in Ireland. This is reported by the health care specialist on Monday.
In the British Isles, Aedifica is expanding its portfolio to include five residential care centres: four in Jersey and one in Isle of Man, for a total investment of 58 million pounds (69 million euros). The residential care centers have a capacity of 283 residents.
Aedifica is investing approximately £ 46 million in the acquisition and expansion of the five fully operational residential care centres and is also investing £ 12 million in expansions and internal redevelopment works of three of the five residential care centres. The Belgian company is thus expanding its collaboration with Emera group, “an established European healthcare operator with a proven business model,” says CEO Stefaan Gielens. The portfolio in the United Kingdom will exceed one billion euros after the completion of all development projects.
In Ireland, the real estate company is adding three new residential care centres to its portfolio, with a capacity of 346 residents with high care needs, accounting for an investment of around 57 million euros. The portfolio in Ireland thus rises to almost 270 million euros
