Accenture plans to reduce 900 jobs in its UK operations. This after a recent profit call and a statement to cut costs which has an impact on the staff.
The Guardian reports that between July and September, Accenture plans to reduce 700 to 900 of its count of UK employees at all levels due to reduced demand for its services. Accenture has a total of 11,000 employees in the UK.
Accenture is reducing the number of employees because of the corona crisis leading to an overcapacity of people in proportion to market demand.
