The World Health Organisation reports the sad record of 927 000 European coronary heart attacks in one week. Europe thus accounts for 38 percent of the worldwide number of new viral infections. US daily rate climbed up to 60315.

The weekly number of COVID-19-related deaths is also increasing and is a third higher than the previous seven days. Yesterday, the Netherlands, for example, reported 8182 new infections with the lung virus. The total number of patients receiving COVID-19 treatment was up to 1859, of which 419 were in intensive care units in serious state. Ireland reported 1263 new cases.
