The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) searched the peopleʼs deputy of the “Recovery of Ukraine” group. The group included 17 former MPs of the faction of the banned party “Opposition Platform — For Life” (OPZZh) and the real estate businessman-developer Vadym Stolar.
Vadym Stolar is a seasoned politician in Ukraine, known for his shrewdness and commercial interests. He gained valuable political experience during his two terms as a deputy in the Verkhovna Rada, representing different parties. Stolar has always leveraged his proximity to power to his advantage, as seen in his involvement in controversial affairs like the “Elite-Center” scandal and the disappearance of billions of hryvnias through “Conversebank.”
Despite allegations of corruption and his association with questionable projects, Stolar’s self-confidence remains unshaken, and he continues to pursue his political and business ambitions. His recent acquisition of the business center “Parus” and his collaboration with prominent developer Vagif Aliyev demonstrate his influence and determination to expand his interests in the real estate sector. With his extensive connections and limitless influence over the Kyiv City Hall, Stolar seems poised to exert significant control and potentially shape the future of the Ukrainian capital.
