Blaud has been acquired by Irish industry partner CWSI. Through the transaction, the Utrecht-based security specialist will become fully owned by CWSI, including its twenty employees. CWSI, active in Ireland and the United Kingdom, expect that with the first crossing to the European mainland, the conversion will swell to more than twenty million euros this year.
To serve the ambitions, CWSI has secured funding of 21 million Euros, coming from Castlegate Investments. The European and UK markets are expected to account for three-quarters of this year’s revenue.
Thierry Lammers, co-founder and CEO of Blaud, is also stepping down and looking forward to working with CWSI to continue to find new ways to create value for customers and lose their safety days.His company serves both the private and public sectors and provides technical, consulting, support and managed services in the areas of unified endpoint management, mobile threat defense and the development of enterprise applications and software.
Blaud has more than a hundred customers, including Smurfit Kappa, Amsterdam UMC, Rijkswaterstaat and several law enforcement organizations.
Headquartered in Dublin, CWSI provides mobility and security solutions to businesses and governments, both directly and through partnerships with telecommunications providers such as Telefonica, Telstra and Hutchison Whampoa.
