Apple brings app for Apple TV to Ireland

A

Apple has introduced its app for Apple TV in Ireland on Monday. That happened in the run-up to the release of Apple TV +, the paid streaming service of the American tech giant.

For Irish users, the app currently only offers the option of buying or renting certain films. The app also contains a library with an overview of previously purchased films.

In, for example, the United States, where the app has been available for some time, it is possible for users to subscribe to certain payment channels via the app from Monday.

Users can update their iPhone to iOS 12.3 to be able to download the Apple TV app on their device.
