World, As Seen from the most beautiful islands: Ireland and Cyprus

There is a simple explanation of Trump denial to listen the Khashoggi tape

President Donald Trump does not want to listen to the Turkish sound record of the death of the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. “We have the tape, but I do not want to listen to the recording, there is no reason for me to listen to it”, said Trump. As far as I know there is a simple reason for Mr. President not to listen it. He does not know Arabic, right?

Trump said that Sunday in an interview with Fox News. “I am fully informed, there is no reason for me to hear it,” Trump said, asking his advisors if he should listen to it and they had advised him against it,

“I know everything that is on that tape without me having to hear it, it’s very cruel and terrible, “said the president.

Last week, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan officially confirmed the existence of sound recordings of the killing of Khashoggi. They were shared with a number of countries – including Germany and the US. What exactly can be heard on the tapes is unclear.
