Northern Ireland is also locked in the fight against the corona virus. The country announced far-reaching measures that will take effect at the beginning of Sunday.

Nobody can leave the house without a good reason. Meetings with more than two people are prohibited, and anyone who can work from home should do the same. The authorities warn that companies that cannot ensure the safety of their personnel may be closed or restricted. Certain buildings are also closed.

The measures are stricter than in the rest of the United Kingdom. Fines for violations can amount to converted over 5500 euros.
