China with its planed economy was able to mobilize every company to fend off the shortage of the personal protection items intended to use during the COVID-19 outbreak. As things seem to be getting better in China the excess of PPE (personal protective equipment) is shipped across the world. Airbus delivers four million face masks to Spain and France. Meanwhile the Irish national airline operator Aer Lingus landed with the first party which is 28 million euro worth.

First part of the shipment is already delivered by Aer Lingus. Altogether there will be ten deliveries €208m worth. The Department of Health will distribute the PPE supplies to every clinic in Ireland. Department of Foreign affair has posted the pictures.
Ireland’s usual annual supply of PPE is €15m. As for now there is 2000 cases cases registered. More than 20 percent of the infected are healthcare workers and their associates. Therefore PPE is vitally important to slow down the COVID-19 outbreak.
