70 percent of the adult population of Northern Ireland are vaccinated at least once

In Northern Ireland, anyone over the age of 18 who wishes to do so can have a vaccination from Thursday.

That’s what local health authorities report. In the meantime, more than a million people have already received a first shot, about 70% of the adult population. Approximately 40% of the population have already received two doses. Health Minister Robin Swann called it an important step to reopen society.
